Press Reviews
The songs are great and the story connecting them, about a spider-obsessed serial killer that falls in love with a victim, is the perfect sick menace we expect. Welcome back to your nightmare. Kerrang (Magazine) (p.49)

Comments about STEAMHAMMER/SPV Alice Cooper - Along Came a Spider:
Alice Cooper is the master of concept albums - he has been doing them off and on for over 30 years. With Along Came A Spider, Cooper fans are once again acquainted with Steven, a character that long time fans will be more than familiar with. Alice glides his way through this offering with differing styles that Coop fans will admire. As with most good albums, this one gets better with every listen. Few other artists could be taken seriously with this type of record, let alone make it as memorable. There is only 1 Alice.

Comments about STEAMHAMMER/SPV Alice Cooper - Along Came a Spider:
This album features a terrific blend of darkness, sardonic humour, classic rock flair, slight pop elements, and Alice's trademark brand of light horror which we've all come to love over the years. There's enough substance and diversity on the tracks here to keep you interested over many listens, and each track has its own great moments and memorable aspects.
Though the concept of this album may come across as somewhat outlandish and strange, Alice manages to work and cultivate it into quite an interesting and credible narrative, doing so through the terrific construction of each song, and with a consistent and appropriate tone conveyed through the music.
If you're a fan of Alice's work, then you should get great enjoyment out of this CD. This is easily the greatest album about a crazed, psychotic, arachnid-obsessed stalker/serial killer ever... Though being the only one in existence does help. But let's not let that detract from what I've said.
Great music, delightfully twisted concept, great listening experience all-round.

Comments about STEAMHAMMER/SPV Alice Cooper - Along Came a Spider:
Maybe he was wanting to recapture the nightmare of "welcome to my nightmare" but missed the mark. Bob Ezrin would've been handy with this one. Good concept but the music was not varied enough for my tastes. Enjoyable, clever, great idea just missing something.

Comments about STEAMHAMMER/SPV Alice Cooper - Along Came a Spider:
Good album for when you just need to be a little freaky. This is a kind of creepy music but make no mistake. Anybody can listen to this without being a metal nerd or something. Its pop with a story and its a recommend from me...!
