Description
The album title came from her father’s sudden passing halfway through the album’s recording. From her grievance and uncertainty of finishing the album comes a more passionate album than Angie could’ve planned as a result. Her album crosses borders of hip-hop, rap, soul and R&B, all with the artist’s heartfelt emotions blended in.
Add to that her survival through the respiratory disease sarcoidosis, and you have a woman whose soul has not been slowed down by anything, and instead has made an album that is fun to listen to.

Comments about CONCORD Angie Stone - Unexpected:
A bit more of the same, really, but she's one of todays great soul divas, so who cares!?
