Description
Bat For Lashes (BFL) is the nom de plume of singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Natasha Khan. With her dazzling second album, Two Suns, BFL is set to assume the mantle of the most dynamic and intriguing pop performer in the UK right now. Natasha is joined on several tracks by Brooklyn’s finest psychedelic experimentalists Yeasayer, who provide bass and beat programming. The legendary Scott Walker also performs a duet with Natasha for the heart-wrenching torch song and album closer ‘The Big Sleep’. As with Fur And Gold, Natasha chose to co produce Two Suns with David Kosten (AKA Faultline).

Press Reviews
Like Kate Bush, Natasha Khan creates uncompromising, heartbreaking music in a singular, eerie landscape, and it's just a joy that she lets us in. Clash (magazine) (p.109)
3 stars out of 5 -- "'Daniel,' the album's early single, is a seductive, motorik love song, purring of bassline, drowsy of melody and swooning of lyric, it's pure Stevie Nicks circa RUMOURS. Mojo (Publisher) (p.106)
4 stars out of 5 -- "[I]t's a concept album about the dual self....'Siren Song' illustrates the concept perfectly, with its two distinct halves, and 'The Big Sleep,' a vaudevillian 'Some Velvet Morning' for the 00s, finds Scott Walker on call-and-response vocals. Record Collector (magazine) (p.88)
Conjuring ancient tribal vibes from ominous synths and galloping tom-toms, this art-rock Joan of Arc gushes duality motifs that thwart narrative but overflow with moonstruck sensuality. Spin (p.76)

Comments about SPUNK Bat for Lashes - Two Suns:
A great album - very unique and refreshing - bought it after hearing just 2 of the songs - Up until that point I had never heard of Bat For Lashes.
The songs ebb and flow with a combination of upbeat and down tunes. Lyrically the songs are wonderful and the melodies enchanting.
I'm now a new fan of Bat For Lashes
