Comments about PARLOPHONE George Harrison - Let It Roll - Songs of George Harrison:
I know that Lennon-McCartney wrote most Beatles hits, but I've always been a George Harrison fan, not only because I loved his songs and his way of singing them. He was also a very fine guitarist.
"Something", "Here Comes The Sun", "Taxman", "Within You Without You" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" are masterpieces, and as a solo artist George wrote songs like "My Sweet Lord", "Isn't It A Pity", "All Things Must Pass" and "Got My Mind Set On You".
This cd focuses on his solo career, and the only Beatles songs represented her are live versions of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something" and "Here Comes The Sun". Do I need to tell that this is good music.? The album gives you a many-sided picture of George Harrison's talents as a songwriter and musician, and the remastered sound brings new details to the music.

Comments about PARLOPHONE George Harrison - Let It Roll - Songs of George Harrison:
Demonstrates Harrison's ability. For my money leaves Lennon & McArtney in his dust. Sadly still not around today so a great loss to music. Would like to have seen a two or three other tracks on the album eg Dark Horse, Bangladesh to make in a truly great collection
