Description
Leona Lewis, the English R&B/ pop singer, is coming up with her second album, Echo, this November. The exact scheduled release of the album is on the 16th of November in the United Kingdom which will be managed by Syco Music. The album will be released on the 17th in the United States by J Records. The worldwide release will be taken care of by Sony Music. Leona Lewis has particularly worked with a lot of artists for this album. Some of them are Justin Timberlake, Xenomania, James Fauntleroy and Max Martin. Echo was preceded by Leona's single, "Happy", which was released on the 15th September.
For this second album, Leona Lewis is once again being supplemented closely by her mentors Clive Davis and Simon Cowell. Both are personally stepping in to help select the right songs and the corresponding producers. The album was titled Echo because according to Leona, echo describes a large but organic sound. The album will most probably include a mix of certain dance tracks, up-tempo pop and of course, ballads.
A good number of collaborators for this album have been named. Leona personally worked with Ryan Tedder who is the co-songwriter and producer of the first single "Happy." Leona has also worked with Justin Timberlake and even recorded the song "Don't Let Me Down" which was written by a product of Timbaland, James Fauntleroy. Why should you get this album? Simply stated, it's Leona Lewis. We all know what she's capable of.

Comments about SONY LEONA LEWIS - ECHO:
A really strong second album from Leona, Took me a couple of listens but every track finds its way into your head.
Lots of protential top 5 hits on here.
On a couple of her songs you can see she is dipping her feet in and trying new styles but on the whole the same sweet melodies we love from her.

Comments about SONY LEONA LEWIS - ECHO:
This is a great follow up album from the worldwide british best selling artist Leona Lewis. Though if you were to be influenced by the lead single "Happy" you would be fooled.
It is understandable as to why "Happy" was chosen as a lead single: Ryan Tedder wrote it. Simple. The track itself fails to deliver the essence that we all fell in love with on "Bleeding Love" and Spirit.
Don't let this get your hopes down as my iTunes rating states "Echo" is a 5 sgtar worthy album, rightly so.
The next single again poorly chosen "I Got You" is a soft sing-a-long melody that you can listen to though you wont be fussed if you never hear it again. Now track 3 onwards starts to get interesting "Can't Breath" is where you remember why you love this woman her vocal shine and the music builds up tension you just start singing out her high notes though compared with Lewis it's hard to not sound like a cat against the wall.
The next to tracks "Brave" and "Outta My Head" are simply some the standout tracks of the album, "Brave" is a guitar rif lead song that again you sing along to in the car on youripod anywhere, definitely should be a single, alogn with the Max Martin (Britney Spears) produced song "Outta My Head" which is an unusal style for Leona but she pulls it off, a great summer song i imagine, and you dance along whenever you hear the chorus and will be singing it for days on end afterweards, these 2 songs are a win.
the same applies to "Love Letter" a song about loving someone you havent met just feel connected through haven spoken through words on a paper, the song is fast tempo style in the vain of "Forgive Me" but miles better again this should/shouldn't be a single it would be great on the radio but also as a gem on the album.
Tracks 8,9 & 10 all ballads that show of the powerful voice we've all come to know, all listern-able and a great cover of Coldplays "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" which she performed on The X Factor.
"Don't Let Me Down" should of taken it's own advice as it lets the album down very poorly, dont le tthe fact that it features Justn Timberlake eye catch you, it doesn't impress to standards of the rets of the songs. Luckily John Shanks & Ryan Tedder save the day with "Alive" a high powered ballad which just feels good with yourself and "Lost Then Found" featuring Tedders lead bandf OneRepublic is a gem the vocals of the two mix perfectly the meldoy is charming anf beautiful, more than makes up for "Happy"
Buy it if you liked "Happy" buy it if you like Spirit.
Stand out tracks are "Brave" "Love Letters" "Outta My Head" & "Lost Then Found" - like to add "Alive" too.

Comments about SONY LEONA LEWIS - ECHO:
This album is good, it doesnt have the oasis cover she done on it though. There is some up beat songs on it too, think Leona should bring one of them out to prove to everyone she can sing up beat too as they are good songs.

Comments about SONY LEONA LEWIS - ECHO:
I bought this CD for my wife at Christmas and she loved it. She was already a fan anyway but she feels that this is just as good, if not better than her last album. There is only one track that is a little bit out of place but that's not stopped it being played in the car over and over.
