The Searchers emerged from the same Merseyside scene that spawned The Beatles and Gerry & The Pacemakers with their own flair for catchy pop and jangling rock influences. Known chiefly for the hits 'Sweets For My Sweet' and 'Needles And Pins', the group had much to do with the American penchant for all things British in the 1960s. Despite many line-up changes across the years, the focus remains on the strength of John McNally and Frank Allen's songwriting. This collection includes all their major hits, along with many other cuts from their productive 60s sessions.
