Synopsis

The Place: French Guyana , on the South American coast.

The Situation: Armed forces of the terrorist Global Revolutionary Front have attacked a secret research facility on the ILE Royale and seized an experimental nuclear reactor. The French government needs to diffuse the situation before it becomes public.

The Mission: Join the elite commandos of the French Foreign Legion and go into battle, face to face, with the Greatest threat yet.

• Invade The ILE Royale - fight through an intricate underground system of caves, a 19th century prison and a complex factory building: then strike at the heart of the enemy.
• Marvel at the dynamic visual effects and smart artificial intelligence generated by the Jupiter-EX game engine (F.E.A.R.).
• Use real-life Foreign Legion weapons including the FAMAS, ERYX, PAMAS G1 and H&K MP5. Collect the FN FAL, Bizon PP-19, H&K G11 and Mossberg 500 gun from fallen combatants.
