Plot Synopsis
A highly evolved civilisation sets up mysterious monolithic objects on Earth, the Moon, and in orbit around Jupiter, which impart vital survival information to ancient man, and later signal man to travel deep into space. Comments about 2001: A Space Odyssey:
The film was surprisingly good. I tried to see it one time before, but I was too tired to complete it. Then now many years later I tried again, thinking that it might be tough, but no! I was really surprised. I actually really liked the movie - for what it is! I like the visual affects, and eventhough its from 1968 the effects and design are not outdated. It is a bit odd and I found that reading about it afterwords really helped my understanding.
