Description

Brother is another controversial film by Takeshi Kitano (Zatoichi, Battle Royale, Sonatine, Boiling Point)after Battle Royale which was talk of the town at the beginning of the year.

The story: Yamamoto (Takeshi Kitano) was about to be killed in the quest for power in his mob in Japan. To avoid being killed, he went to Los Angeles, California to meet his "little brother" Ken (Kuroudo Maki) and knew some members of Ken's gang, too, including Danny (Omer Epps). Ken's gang was in a dispute with the Mexican mob for the wholesale price of cocaine. Without hesitation, Yamamoto started a war with the Mexicans. Since then, Yamamoto began to build up his power, especially after acquiring the gang of Shirase (Masaya Kato). One year later, Yamamoto's gang had some dispute with profit sharing with Mafia, and war was started, his brothers betray him again... What was the fate of Yamamoto and his fellow gangsters?
