Description

The extremely popular computer-animated family films that take a look of life in the Ice Age have been a favourite for young and old. Recurring characters Manny (Ray Romano), Diego the sabertooth tiger (Denis Leary) Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo), are faced with challenges big and small: migrating south to avoid the freezing ice, keeping a human baby safe, keeping your acorn safe (Scrat’s challenge in every film). The original film in 2002 was a smash-hit, and after another successful sequel, our favourite ice age characters are back, with more chilling challenges coming their way. - © Emily Corine

Plot Synopsis

Manny (Ray Romano) and Ellie (Queen Latifah) are about to become parents, and Manny wants to make sure everything runs smoothly. Diego (Denis Leary) feels disgraced trying to hunt a speedy gazelle, and feels like he’s losing his roots as a sabertooth tiger. Sid (John Leguizamo) is jealous of the mammoths’ soon-to-be-born, and grabs three abandoned eggs to raise on his own. These eggs hatch and turn out to be tyrannosaurus rex babies, and the mother takes her babies back, along with Sid. The gang gets together to save their friend, meeting Buck (Simon Pegg), a weasel with one-eye seeking revenge for his hindered view. - © Emily Corine

Comments about 20TH CENTURY FOX Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs:

Having loved the first two Ice Ages, I was very sceptical about this third outing, but the main audience (8 and 6 year old) absolutely loved it and it wasn't a pain to sit through at all. 'Sid and the kids' scenes had them rolling in the aisles, and would be happy to watch it again.

Comments about 20TH CENTURY FOX Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs:

I've never been a fan of sequels. They are usually lack of ideas in the storyline and downhill onwards from there.

I was accompanying my teenage nephew watching Ice Age 3, to my surprise this film is quite entertaining. There is a lot of love & family elements in there, not to forget plenty of humor spread out throughout the entire movie. You may find yourself chuckling.. even if you don't want to.
