Comments about UNIVERSAL PICTURES Pink Floyd - Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii - Director's Cut:
This is Pink Floyd at its pre-DSOM best! Playing in an amphitheater in the Italian city of Pompeii, playing mostly material from the (then just released), Meddle. It's got a KILLER version of Echoes (all 23 minutes!) with Dave Gilmour sans shirt playing as amazing as ever. The band is really vibrant and fresh and the footage is shot really well. The mastering onto DVD is fantastic too. There's also some behind-the scenes footage of the making of DSOM. Highly recommend, considering how cheap it is.
