Description

Once upon a time...

Banished from his home for having such lofty ambitions, Despereaux set off on an amazing adventure with his good-hearted rat friend Roscuro that eventually led him, at long last, on a very noble quest to rescue an endangered princess. Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Kate Dicamillo, this animated film is set in the magical kingdom of Dor. Once an enchanted place, Dor has since been put under a dark grey spell. But with the birth of a small mouse named Despereaux, hope is restored to all the land, and the real adventures begin.
