Description
You return right where you left Desmond Miles off in the first, who had just witnessed his ancestor Altair’s life through the Animus machine. With the help of Lucy Stillman, the insider within the walls of the evil Abstergo Industries, you escape and meet with the modern-day assassins. You use the Animus again by choice, and dwell into your ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze during the late 15th and early 16th century in Renaissance Italy.
The sequel comes with improvements everywhere. Scaling buildings are now a breeze, the storyline has greatly improved, side-missions are far more varied than its predecessor, the computer AI has smartened up, and money now comes into the equation, buying equipment and weapons. The combat is the most improved, with weapons from axes, hammers, swords and duel hidden blades giving assassinations more stylized variety. If you enjoyed the first (or never played it), this is the right game for you.

Features
Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a young Italian noble who will learn the ways of the assassins after his family was betrayed and he looks to seek vengeance. He is a lady’s man, a free soul with panache yet has a very human side to his personality.
RENAISSANCE ITALY
Italy in the XVth century was less a country and more a collection of city-states where families with political and economic strength began to take leadership roles in cities like Florence and Venice. This journey through some of the most beautiful cities in the world takes place in a time in history where culture and art were born alongside some of the most auspicious stories of corruption, greed and murder
A NEW-FOUND FREEDOM
You will be able to perform missions when and how you want in this open-ended world that brings back free-running and adds elements such as swimming and even flying to the adventure. The variety in game play adds another layer for you to truly play through the game any way you choose
DYNAMIC CROWD
Discover a living breathing world where every character is an opportunity for the player. Blending in with the crowd is easier, working with in-game characters provide ample rewards but can also lead to surprising consequences
BECOME A MASTER ASSASSIN
Perfect your skills to become a master assassin where you brandish new weapons, learn to disarm enemies, use their weapons against them and assassinate enemies using both hidden blades

Comments about Assassin's Creed 2 (Xbox 360):
I finished this game in a week or two, though it certainly offers more than 20 hours of game play through its lengthy but enjoyable single player campaign. Just free running around rooftops is enough to entertain you for hours with this games stunning graphics, fluid movements and amazing animations. Coupled with some amazing new assassination techniques to top it off, this is a game you won't want to miss!

Comments about Assassin's Creed 2 (Xbox 360):
The developers have removed most of the annoying things that were in the first game, such as the repetitive gameplay, the persistent beggars and street people (now there are just musicians and you can get rid of them by throwing money about), and the long periods of having to travel between locations. The graphics are fantastic, the compulsory missions are easier and the side missions are entertaining. The Glyph puzzles are incomprehensible without cheating on the internet, but the Assassin tomb challenges are great fun - except for the one requiring mastery of the side jump, which is frustrating in the extreme as it takes ages to master that..Expect a lot of swimming before you get it right. Overall, this is a fantastically addictive game and it has passed the time while waiting for Theif 4 to be developed.

Comments about Assassin's Creed 2 (Xbox 360):
Assassins Creed 2 has all of the originals strengths and none of its weaknesses (well apart from no multi-player). The original had a very structured game play which got tiring after about the 5th mission. Assassins Creed 2's gameplay however, is much more open with tonnes of extra side missions thrown in that will keep you entertained for hours.
Whilst easy to pick up and play, it does take some practice to master.
Excellent graphics and ties into the story of the original nicely, however this can also be a major weakness of the game if you haven't played the original as the story assumes that you have finished the original title.
