Batman Arkham Asylum is a fantastic game, it is the best superhero game that has been made. The storyline is compelling and the gameplay mechanics are very easy pick up. The graphics are gorgeous and the developers have added a great deal of content that is true to the batman franchise. Overall an almost perfect game, if you are a fan of Batman then this is a must have.

Absolutly absorbing....easy to get a grip of with new weapons and skills introduced gradually....love the equipment its fun enjoyable and challenging...makes you think constantly....A real fun game i am still playing....love it when you are taken away for hours at a time. not a game for those that havent the time...as it will steal it with ease from you....Absolutly love it and the first game i have ever dared buy that was movie related...usually i stay clear i am sooo glad i took the chance as its brilliant...

This is a fantastic game, whether for someone new to Batman or a die-hard fan.

Atmospherically, it's all very creepy, and you spend much of the game within the walls of Gotham's famous Arkham Asylum. Everything is very well realised, whether within the asylum itself or on the fantastically detailed grounds.

Although the characters aren't like the recent famous Christopher Nolan movie versions, the gritty, noir storyline and atmospherics seem to owe a lot to them.

This contains some very adult themes, so definitely not recommended for children.

This is one slick game. From the moment the opening sequence started up I was hooked. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is addictive. This game is a must-have for any game collection, even if you're not into the marvel super-hero scene.

Despite the game being unrelated to Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" any fans of that brilliant film (which tends to be most of us) will find Arkham Asylum scratches the same itch that made the movies so satisfying. A dark and mature story and some quite frightening moments especially during the great Scarecrow sections which have Batman platforming through bizarre environments in his own mind.

The story is great, typical Batman, and presented prefectly. The island creates an atmosphere only matched in resent years by "Bioshock".

There's some almost "Tomb Raider" style platorming, "God of War" calibre combat and stealth sections to rival "Metal Gear Solid".

There is not an emourmous amount of new mechanics in Arkham Asylum, but the game borrows exactly the right amount from everywhere, polishes it until it gleams and makes it about Batman.

It's not only one of the best games of the year but it's easily the best comic book game of all time.

I passed the game in a week of non stop playing could have been abit longer but was still very good some bosses are too hard it has a great storyline great graphics all in all a good game

Finally a decent Batman game. It's gritty, dark and topped off with fantastic graphics and voice overs by the batman animated cartoon series.

Great game from start to finish, cant recommend it highly enough.
