I don't really like FPS's on consoles, as I come from a PC gaming background but I have to admit, MW2 uses the XBox controller very well to the point where I actually dont care about the missing mouse anymore.

The game itself has one of the most engaging storylines in a game. It a heart pounding ride. If you are a fan of war action movies such as Black Hawk Down, you'll feel right at home in campaign mode.

There aint' much to say, Best First-Person Shooter I ever seen.
Also great split screen in Special Ops mode if you wanna play with a friend on the same console.
Tons of online mode to play.
Virtualy unlimited.

Good single player mode with a ok storyline, as usual with COD titles single player mode too short & left me feeling a little cheated even though i expected it. The multiplayer mode is where you will be coming back for more & more its without doubt the best part of the game & has endless replay value, buy it just for this.

Online, a superb FPS shooter than is even better the previous modern warfare and one of the best.
In my veiw however the offline story goes way off track and trys too hard to shock you - notably the airport section , which was rubbish as well as pointless to the story.
Some parts of the story are still brilliant though, but the overall result is inconsistant.
I sugguest just play it online !

Engaging single player campaign with a great storyline, though a little too short I felt it ended too soon. the multiplayer definitely adds replay to the game and is great fun.

The thing that stands out for me in modern warfare 2 is that it really is the complete fps package. It has a great single player campaign,which is very action orientated and cinematic.It has truly one of the best online multi-player I have ever played, it's very addictive; unlocking weapons and perks and gaining experience to level up.Also the new 'special Ops' mode ,which is a cooperative mode for two player taking short missions from the main campaign, is also extremely fun to play.

The only downside to this game that I can think of is the campaign is relatively short compared some other games, weighing in at about 6-8 hours.Also, some annoying glitches in the online play can occasionally pop up.

Overall I think modern warfare 2 is great all-round package and truly is a fantastic gaming experience and has set the benchmark for future fps games.I would highly recommend this game and guarantee you will have great fun with the single player and spent countless hours in multi player.

Now, when Call of Duty: World At War came out, I felt majorly let down by Infinity Ward. Sure, the zombies element was fun, but it was nothing compared to Call of Duty 4.

I was so relieved when I played Modern Warfare 2, and I think it's a brilliant comeback from World at War. The storyline is fantastic, and it follows on brilliantly from CoD 4. It's also pretty easy to understand for those who haven't played the first Modern Warfare. The graphics really show off the best of the 360 console, with good detail. Multiplayer online is brilliant, with the added feature of being able to choose tags for yourself, ranging form 'Sergeant', 'One Shot' and 'The Avenger', right down to 'Accident Prone'. It still uses the prestige system of levelling up. This means once you get to maximum level 70, you have the option to start again from the bottom, but gain a rank known as prestige, going all the way up to 10th prestige.

Special ops, a new feature for Call of Duty, lets you and a friend play online or locally to complete missions, with maps from both of the Modern Warfares, which is great for a bit of online play and a change from just campaign and multiplayer.

Overall, I think it's a fantastic game, definitely worth the spend.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a game that continues the story of the first Modern Warfare. It has three modes which comes with the game, Single Player, Special Ops, and Multiplayer.

Single Player: Has 2 stories occupying at the same time in the main story. The good thing about it is you would always stay into the action as much as possible so there is no boring bits. However the story itself is very short as I've completed it in 4 hours on Recruit, 8 hours on Veteran.

Special Ops: Can be played Solo or with a partner. It features mini missions that has happened in either Modern Warfare or Modern Warfare 2. There are races, stealth missions, Enemy elimination, heaps of stuff which are good. The higher the difficulty, the more stars you earn.

Multiplayer: Unfortunately, this is a big problem. The Call of Duty series is best known for their Multiplayer. Online is good gameplay, however, the matchmaking system a bit broken. Every 2-3 hours, i would join at least 3 servers that has completely bad hosting. But that doesn't stop me from playing at all.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 lives up to its hype. As the game is very intense, very fun, and very challenging (especially Special Ops).

5/5 due to the fact that everything is very perfect except one small matchmaking problem which hopefully will be patched soon.
