i don't do online or multiplayer gaming so i can't comment on that but single mode is awesome!! it kept me engaged, it mixed it up enough to not get boring and i simply love this kind of game play & storyline

This is a lot of fun to play and a great showcase for the PS3 platform. Very fluid gameplay, even if the interactive cut scenes are a bit repetitive. Not the longest game either, but the story and quality of the acting doesn't leave you wanting.

Its a stunning conclusion to the set. One of the best video game trilogy's out there and the cut scenes are awesome. It also has jaw dropping graphics. I am pleased to be the owner of the whole set now.

I was really looking forward to this game, and how it would wrap up the trilogy, as well as how it would compare to the ingenuity of god of war and the brilliance of god of war 2. So my expectations were fairly high.
That said, the opening sequence blew me away, and from then on it had me hooked. I played on Titan, since I was looking for a challenge, and the difficulty was just right, without being overly frustrating.
Excellent combat carried over from the second in the series, with improved fluidity and weapon switching. The attention to detail is astounding, although the brutality of some of kratos' moves is not for the faint hearted.
While some reviews criticised it for not being fresh, or that Kratos is too lacking in 'soul', I found that his temperament was quite well depicted, given his situation, and it's quite satisfying to play the vengeful character.
Excellent finish to the trilogy, and hopefully not the last ps3 game in the franchise. Core game will last a good 10+ hours (not including repeating fights due to death) ,especially on Titan :P 5 stars :)
