Guitar Hero: Metallica (Game Only) (Playstation 3)

The biggest name in heavy metal is back in the biggest game of 2009; Guitar Hero: Metallica for the Playstation 3. All the guys in the band are here to rock out to their biggest hits and greatest songs. You have James on vocals and guitar, Lars is on the drums, thrashing like nobody else in the business. Kirk is on lead guitar and his shredding licks are legendary. Then the newcomer Joey on bass; he keeps up with the legendary trio and brings home some old fashioned funk. All the hits are here, from For Whom the Bell Tolls, to Fade to Black and Sanitarium; the legendary songs are all represented. The song lists cover their entire careers and there is a song that represents every album. Luckily for diehard fans, much of their early work is represented and rocks more than ever. Metallica can stand toe to toe with any current band and their body of work makes them rock legends. There are online modes and intense extreme difficulty mode where you can hook up a second kick pedal and bang the drums with two bass drums like Lars does. Or at least you can try.
