Comments about New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo DS):
I really enjoyed this game. I has good graphics, nice sound effects and fun gameplay. For the main gameplay you control Mario with the keys, though the touch screen is used for powerups.
Game controls are simple and easy to grasp. Gameplay is great, with just enough difficulty to keep it very fun to play, without been to hard. There are 8 'worlds' each with many levels, so gameplay lasts for a decent amount of time.
The DS download allows two players to battle head to head collect as many stars as possible on several different levels. This is fun and easy for friends to learn i a short time. The game also has mini-games which you can either play alone or through DS download play. The mini-games use the touch screen and they are nice sideline to the game.
In fact the only downside to the game is the lack of online gaming. Other than that however, it gets full marks!

Comments about New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo DS):
I asked my husband for 'the closest game on a DS like the old Mario games' and this is what he got me. I love it! Very familiar content actions and characters but still new. As I said an oldie but a goodie for all those Mario Bros fans.
